FLEET OVERVIEW

Your devices, accounted for.

Track inventory, check connections, and review every management action.

Connect to your control plane

Enter an issued service token or the local administrator token from .protec/admin-token. Paste the file contents, not its path or masked dots. It stays in memory until you lock or reload this page.

For a container install, read /data/admin-token inside the container. For BoxPilot, open the app’s sign-in details and copy its generated administrator token.

PROTEC Know what’s connected. Know what changed.
ADD A DEVICE

Enroll this Mac or a Linux device

This token enrolls one device and expires in 15 minutes. Closing this window clears it from the page.

From a Protec checkout on the device, run:

python3 -m protec.agent --enroll

Paste the token at the prompt. The foreground agent sends inventory every 30 seconds. The command uses this portal’s address.

Remote enrollment requires HTTPS and network access to this portal. Administrator privileges are reported, but this agent does not elevate or change system settings.

INVENTORY

Schedule an inventory refresh

Choose a window when this device may refresh its inventory. The device must check in during the window. A running read may finish later, but late completion will be rejected.

Up to 24 hours long, ending within the next 30 days. Times that do not exist when clocks move forward are rejected.

Package inventory

Use Refresh inventory on the device to collect a new report. Package installation and updates are not enabled.
